Brent, a University of Cape Town alumnus, excelled at Investec in Equity Structuring and Financial Products, focusing on corporate and BEE transactions. Now, as Firepower Capital's Director of Finance and an iXperience finance instructor, Brent equips students worldwide for finance success.
Wesley is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years in the field, beginning in the dot-com era. Having managed transactions worth over $1 billion and founded Sift Finance, he's also a dedicated mentor, teaching over 900 students in financial modeling and valuation. His courses, aimed at investment banking excellence, cover everything from business model analysis to interview prep. With Wesley, students gear up for successful finance careers.
Byron holds an M.B.A from INSEAD and two degrees from the University of Cape Town. He then spent 3.5 years working at McKinsey & Company and SABMiller Africa before heading to business school in Singapore and France. He then returned to Johannesburg and McKinsey to continue his management consulting education.
Erik interned at Silvertree Capital during his iX Summer program in Cape Town in 2017. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2018, he worked at McKinsey, where he became a Senior Business Analyst and a Social Responsibility Fellow. He is now an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School.
